Colour Schemes

When thinking of our myspace and album combo. The colours that appear at the foreground of my mind are deep blues and greens along with the generic black. I may even throw i may greys and white into the mix for a stark contrast. This will be important when drawing up designs.

Another Editing Update

Sorry about the lack of posting recently, but I have been in the edit suite constantly recently. This has, however, led us to now have a complete sequence in order for our video. It's looking good, but needs a lot of tightening up and brightness and contrast adjustments. At the moment I am content with it.

Cutting to the beat

After watching many of the videos that are inspiring us currently we have noticed a common theme. They seem to cut on or slightly off the beat. We have decided to implement this technique in our video as we believe it will make it more like an actual music video.

MOOOOVE

A moment of inspiration occurred today while we had a group meeting which decided what was going to happen on one of the most important lyrics in our song, MOOOVE. We have chosen to create an artificial zoom to emphasise the transition to night. We shall test in the near future.

Editing Update

The edit of our music video is starting to come along. At first there were doubts about whether our footage was bright enough, but some careful luma curving and colour correcting has done the trick. I think everyone one is in agreement that our slow motion and 'individual' shots are the best so we will naturally attempt to use this as much as possible.
